Some recent research indicates that Ginger is useful in the treatment of minor burns and skin inflammations. Ginger on the skin can increase the skin's radiance and decrease inflammation that may contribute to conditions such as psoriasis. Ginger's antioxidant properties inhibit harmful free radicals that cause skin damage and aging, promoting smoothness and an even skin tone. The extracts have been found to use for lightening age spots while acting as an energy-booster in spa treatments. By this action, it is believed to improve circulation and it is often used in cellulite-reducing treatments

Ginger contains a compound known as gingerol. Gingerol makes it highly potent as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Ginger oil is thus effective for pain relief and reducing swelling when topically applied on sore muscles, painful joints and swelling.

Ginger Oil has the ability to dilute sodium in your body when massaged onto areas of retention (fluid swelling).

Other ways you can help your body flush excess Sodium and improve circulation are:

Drink Ginger tea regularly.  Drink freshly made Parsley tea (a good safe diuretic)

Take a spoonful of Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water each morning.

Reduce your salt intake, avoid processed foods and only use Himalayan Mineral Salts.

Treat yourself to weekly Epsom Salt foot baths or add a cup of Epsom Salts to your bathtub.

Increase your Magnesium intake, and make sure you do some relaxing exercise like Yoga, Stretching, Meditation, or just a nice walk in the forest.   Circulation is important to good health both mental and physical.
