Firstly, I personally am not a Dr.  For the last 17 years I have been treating horses with holistic therapies such as Cranio Sacral ( I completed Equine and Human studies in this modality), Acupuncture with needles, laser and electro-therapy, massage, both sports and trigger point techniques, acupressure, and Equine Touch which is a vibrational myofascial release technique.  During my work I met a client from Mexico who operated a Cancer Clinic.  I asked him to recommend a medical unit that could support some of my work in treating specific injury.  I was thinking of perhaps a laser unit or similar.  He recommended the Electro-Acuscope.  He had been using it for nearly 20 years and in his view there wasnt anything available that could touch its ability to aid the body to heal and alleviate pain.

So my trip to USA to source, train with, and bring home the first Electro-Acuscope to New Zealand happened.  They are still very rare here due to the cost, and the training required before you are allowed to purchase one.  I have the only equine calibrated one in the Southern Hemisphere that I know of.

As part of my training to purchase these units I was required to train on treating both horses and humans.  A week long intensive course for each, and during which I met some amazing therapists and professionals who told some incredible stories of their successes with using these units.  These people were chiropractors, acupuncturists, and sports medical experts.  It was very enlightening.

I have used the units on horses predominately over the last 10 years, but a growing number of human, canine and feline patients have found their way to my door and the success stories and pain resolution many are reporting has made me interested in trying to help more people.
